Phoenix

Meet Phoenix (at birth: Debeaus Little Joe) a 1998, 16 hh, APHA, Bay/Overo Gelding. He is Western trained and can be ridden for 1 hour at a time (walk/trot) by an experienced rider with a gentle, but firm hand. Considering his age, Phoenix has weight limit of 175 lbs. (including tack). He has carried babies and children while on a lead line and ignores dogs and cats. Phoenix has not been ridden consistently for the last 2 years, so he may need a refresher while the two of you bond. Phoenix can be pushy around food and needs a kind farrier. He can be on pasture, was trailered two years ago (and did fine) and has had regular vet and farrier visits.
