Suess
He’s not a doctor, but they call him Suess! Significant Charisma (Suess) is a 2014, 16.3 hh, AQHA, sorrel gelding. Six years ago, with his original owner, Suess suffered a sesamoid injury. It was radiographed yet nothing more was done, and the original owner will not share Suess’ vet records. His new vet does not believe Suess is currently in any pain but agrees he should not be ridden without further testing and diagnosis. Suess moves freely and loves to run. He came from living with mares and foals to a gelding only herd and is not doing well as Suess bullies them. Suess can be very food/hay aggressive though all is well if he gets to it first. Suess prefers humans to geldings and will scare the others away to get to you. Suess requires an experienced handler as he knows what you’re asking yet you must ‘insist’ to get him to respond. In essence, Suess is a handful and is not appropriate for his current family that includes several young children. Suess is an easy keeper, does fine with haltering, needs a patient farrier and has never nipped, reared, or kicked. I hope you have room in your heart and home for this big, beautiful boy who truly has Significant Charisma, though he will respond to Suess!
