Kit Cat

Kit Cat:  (JC: Miss Cat Dancing) who was bred by former Canterbury Park owner Dale Schenian.   She won $40,096 in 18 starts.   She was discovered starved and neglected in a McLean Texas kill pen in the Fall of 2024, identified by advocates.  Canterbury offered to bail her out and transport her to us if we would take her.   Research revealed that Miss Cat had three foals in three years, the last one born in April, 2024.   We are presuming the foal was weaned and then the mare sent to slaughter.  She has fully recovered from her previous neglect.
