While stallions are often take center stage in breeding programs, Horse and Harley Farm celebrates the contributions that mares

bring to the table.

This beautiful farm hosts a herd of retired broodmares, some rescued from unthinkable hardship and some who have retired after raising champions.

This powerful, opinionated group fascinates us with their cooperation and collaboration.

Each of them is so certain of her role and
