Layla

Is she gorgeous or what?!?! Layla is an Arabic name meaning “night” or “dark”. Her vet says she is in her late teens. Layla is 15.2hh and this Bay Quarab Mare is well-trained with excellent ground manners. Layla’s current rider is a 6 year old girl in a child’s Western Saddle. Layla is on daily Equioxx for arthritis which involves an old ligament/joint injury to her left front foot. Layla’s vet has recommended that she only carry a child at the walk. A short trot is not out of the question, but she must be totally comfortable at the walk when asked. Her past is sketchy, but she was once at a rescue and has only been with her current family since September 2024. Layla’s re-homing is necessary due to some serious challenges facing her current family. Layla would make a lovely ‘Grandma’s horse’. She is totally at ease around children, adults, dogs, cats and cows. Layla loves being groomed and is great with her farrier and vet. She loves her easy going life in North Branch where her family, especially her 6 yr old rider, dote on her. Certainly this ‘dark’ beauty has caught your eye and possibly your heart.
