Owen

Suddenly Irish/Owen is a 2005, 15hh, sorrel QH gelding. He was shown years ago in Western Pleasure and rode the trails. He was professionally trained but is rusty. In an arena, Owen needs only a halter and a bareback pad, but on the trails, he needs boots to relieve pressure on the fronts, a bridle to keep from snacking, and a buddy for companionship. Owen foundered about 15 years ago. Since then, he has been shoeless and on a diet of grass, cheap hay and low-starch grain. He has been and is sound. Owen has a cleft palate that doesn’t slow him down but he does have persistent nasal discharge. He is good for the farrier. Owen is out of practice loading in a trailer but happily takes bribes. Owen needs an experienced owner (he prefers women to men) to return him to his best self and enjoy the ride of a lifetime. Can you do this for him?
