Paint Horse

Gelding

Bay

Scout

You no longer need to Scout for a new horse because here I am, a 2000, 15hh, solid bay paint gelding named Scout. I am close to the total package. My only problem is that I do get flare ups from heaves. When there is a problem, I get medication that I respond well to, so that is good. Otherwise, I am overall an easy keeper. A couple of pounds of senior grain in the winter and just a ration balancer in the summer when I am out in the pasture. I should not be on a round bale because of the dust and mold and of course, I love to bury my head in it. Silly me! I tend to be more reserved but once I get to know you, I open up. I love to be groomed and of course given treats. I think you will love my ears. They are going all the time! Usually only one is forward at a time so it was a surprise to see a photo of me with them both forward. It could be because I thought a treat was coming my way and it was. LOL! I probably shouldn't brag, but I have wonderful manners and am an excellent partner when ridden. However I am older and with heaves at times, the riding needs to be lighter than in the old days. This is me in a nutshell! Ready for my next adventure with you! You will find me in Waseca, MN.
