"A good man will take care of his horses and dogs not only while they are young but also when they are old and past service." – Plutarch, 100 A.D.
Alaric
Alaric is a 2007, 16.2hh, chestnut, Holsteiner, gelding. His friends call him Al. He is a sweet and curious horse. Al rather likes the ladies. Maybe a bit too much if they don't tell him to knock it off. Al is not doing as well as all had hoped in his current location. Between being temporarily separated from his good friend, Fanny, getting to be with her but a little too rambunctious with the other mares, getting hurt, being on stall rest which he did not enjoy (who does???), being back with the mares and now only with Fanny and another mare, Al has not thrived. He has lost weight and become buddy sour. Al needs a calm place with a lot of kind human interaction to gain back weight and his confidence to be all that he can be - a well mannered, fun, sweet boy that can be lightly ridden. Are you the one to bring this handsome boy back to his old self?!?!
