Diamond was green broke (Western) originally but hasn’t been under saddle in at least 15 years due to her owner’s health. She would need an intermediate to expert rider/trainer to bring her to her full potential. Due to an injury years ago (involving a halter she stepped in) she is shy when being haltered and less willing to offer her left front hoof to the farrier, though she will accept both with proper patience applied. Diamond is good with grooming but not in crossties. This mare doesn’t trailer well. Diamond is an easy keeper and is good around cats & dogs; she only experienced one child years ago and that went well. Diamond is in good health and can be re-trained to be under saddle.
