Hunter

Hey there! I am Hunter, a 2009, 15.1hh, Chestnut, Quarab gelding. I am retired from work under saddle due to arthritis. I have had a successful series of injections in my RF coffin bone. I am doing great! I think just being a companion is best for me, especially if with a mare. I’m a real gentleman, but there is just something about being with the ladies that pleases me. I love children and have no issues with cats or dogs. I have been well trained and have even gotten over being a little pushy. My vet discovered that a section of my small intestine is narrower than it should be, so I need soft forage (grass/alfalfa or blend), and my grain needs to be soaked. If not, I will show colic signs immediately. Proper attention to my need for a soft diet does the trick and keeps me healthy and happy. With my good looks and good manners, I will make an excellent companion to you and any horse(s) you have. I will find my way into your heart if you just find your way to Dayton, MN for a visit. I hope to see you soon!
