Dixie

Dixie is a 1999, 14hh, Palomino, Quarter Horse mare. She can be a little spitfire but is really very sweet. Dixie does have Navicular Disease but it doesn't seem to slow her down. She has been more or less sitting for the past 2 years. Proper shoeing and something along the lines of Equioxx would be helpful if being ridden. Dixie has been ridden in mounted posse, on trails and in the arena. She works well with kids and adults. Her owner did hop on her bareback and under a saddle recently. Dixie did well but was quick. A refresher would be a good idea. Dixie has some sass but is good for the vet and farrier and loves attention. If you need a little something to bring a little spice in your life, Dixie is your girl!
